A Fun and Innovative Way to Drive Trade Show Booth Traffic

Mon, Dec 5, 2016

There are a lot of ways exhibitors can drive engagement at their booth – but today, I wanted to share a genius idea I saw at LEND360 at their event in Chicago earlier this year.

As I was walking through the exhibit hall, I noticed that one of the exhibitors, DSi (Dragnet Solutions, Inc.) always had a line of people “waiting” outside their  booth. When I went to check in and see what they were offering (a free puppy perhaps), I realized that it was better than a free puppy. They had something far more engaging. caricature

Hurricanes shmuricanes. IBEX overcomes weather emergencies and has very successful conference.

Tue, Nov 29, 2016

Too close or not too close? How do you handle the additional distractions of an approaching hurricane on your year-long, hard-planned trade event? Our client, the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference, faced the tough decision of whether or not to shut their show down early in Tampa this past October as Hurricane Matthew turned our media into a 24-hour hurricane watch and hundreds of thousands of Florida and East Coast residents evacuated their homes for safer shores. hurricane-matthew-path While Tampa was secure from the spiraling threat of the hurricane, a boating show such as IBEX was packed with both exhibitors and attendees who needed to get back to boarding their homes and evacuating their businesses and families.

Synchronizing your designs is our new Mistress of Ceremonies, Jen Mercer

Tue, Oct 25, 2016

Our newest designer, Jen Mercer, has skated into CSG and added a brand new edge to our design team, not to mention local ice arenas. As a long-time Busby Berkeley* movie fan, I couldn’t be more excited to have a synchronized ice dancer on board. Freestyle with an edge – what more could we want?img_6257sm

(*Oh, please, just the best synchronized-everything choreographer ever – still awe-inspiring after 70 years.)

How Snapchat Is Evolving in the Event Marketing World

Fri, Jul 22, 2016

Snapchat is considered one of the most popular media outlets out there with more than 100 million daily active users.the-13-snapchat-stars-everyone-should-be-watching

With this effective social media platform, users can send short posts, images and videos to selected recipients. When viewing a Snapchat, the content can be viewed for no more than 10 seconds. Once viewed, the snap will move down to your “All Stories” list where you can replay it as many times as you want within 24 hours until it goes into a “self-destruct” mode and disappears forever.

Today’s reality? Content is virtually everywhere.
