The North American Motorsports Expo (MSX) just completed its second annual show, held in Charlotte, NC.

Despite an ongoing nasty winter that is impeding travel and generally keeping the public indoors, MSX managed to pull off a strong two-day event giving amateur racers access to products and seminars they wouldn’t experience anywhere else.

MSX attracts amateur racers from multiple sports including road racing, solo/autocross, PDX, hill climb, time trials, rally, and rally cross. This year’s show unified all of these sports giving them an opportunity to compete against one another in the MSX Grand Prix “Put Up or Shut Up” Challenge. The challenge was a karting race, and more than 50 racers competed in the event.

In addition, MSX grew the exhibit hall by 50% giving attendees more products and exhibitors to explore. Two racing legends, Randy Pobst and Elliott Forbes-Robinson, were keynote speakers for the conference. Two new tracks were added to the conference to offer more training on safety and karting.

Currently, MSX is exploring locations for its 2016 show.
